Alright…another admission. I so rarely wear makeup that my foundation is from our wedding in 2006. It still seems to work fine and the color is right so on the rare chance that I use it, I still like it. But..still. I think after 7 years it’s about time for something new!
In steps Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream. It “is a new multi-faceted solution for a multitude of skin concerns. If you have oily skin, then you probably have a product to treat shine, and to minimize pores, and to cover blemishes. And maybe a few more products, too. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream can address all those oily-skin needs with just one application. Your skin will have a flawless, lightweight matte finish, and you’ll only need one product to get it.” And even better? It contains a Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen!
My skin is definitely a combination. My eyebrows (so weird) and upper nose area are very dry, my lower noise oily, and the rest of my face seems fine. To get the only negative I’ve seen with this product out of the way off the bat, when I applied to the areas where I have dry skin…it looked flaky/dy. I was able to remove it, lather the small area with some lotion, wait for it to dry, and reapply and it was fine. I’m sure that’s more *my* issue than a problem with it, though!
Otherwise, I love this stuff!! I’ve actually worn it a few times now! I love the way it makes my face look and it feels very light. It’s great stuff and I think I’ve replaced my 7-year-old concealer!!
This weekend my husband, son, and I walked down to a Chili Festival in our town. The day started off a little chilly and it didn’t even occur to me to apply sunscreen to our son or to have my husband and I put any on!! We were out there for hours and when we returned home I noticed that they both had pink faces. I washed my face and…no pink face for me! My B.B. Cream had protected my face from the sun as it stated it would! Very pleased!! AND, while the eyeshadow from CVS I’d put on to try ran a bit, my B.B. Cream stayed put…no melting!
Two enthusiastic thumbs up for this and a big Thank You to BzzAgent for sending it to me!A bad cell phone picture of me! Lol Here I’ve got my free Neutrogena Cosmetics and Garnier B.B. Cream on!
And a family picture! This was Easter…it was a bit warm but my face isn’t shiny! Woohoo!
