Hello World! To be honest, I’ve tried this blogging thing before and never stuck with it. I think the biggest issue is that I usually do one big photo dump at the end of the month rather than every day, but I’m going to attempt to be better at that. For today, I will introduce us and tell you a bit about our little family!
This is me, Lexi. I just turned 33 though I like to imagine I’m 29 FOREVER. There is an unsurprising lack of pictures of me by myself considering I’m always behind the camera or asking for family pics to be taken!!!! My passions include all things YARN, reading, console gaming, Disney, the beach, and really…any craft I can get my hands on. I also learnt to scuba dive with my husband before I got pregnant with our son and am looking forward to getting back to that. I am a stay-at-home wife and mommy and love this job more than anything I’ve ever done. I am also an Air Force reservist, which I do NOT love. I’m much better as a military wife… And I finally completed my Masters degree this past winter!!
This is my completely amazing husband, John. He is 37 but will be 38 here soon! His passions include flying (he recently received his pilots license), cooking (thank heavens), brewing (beer & wine – YUM!!), the ocean, scuba diving, and yes, even Disney!! Woohoo!! I told him THAT was something he had to either love…or love. John is in the Army and is a healthcare recruiter!
And this incredibly adorable child is our son, Sebastian. It took us almost 6 years to finally create this child but he was well worth fighting for. He brings so much joy and silliness to our days and is always making us laugh!! Everyone says he’s my little mini me and I’ll take that as a compliment!
Home for us is Tampa, Fl but up until a couple weeks ago we were living in Little Rock, AR. And now…Houston, TX. This place is BIG. I’m completely afraid to drive anywhere, lol, but I imagine it will get better as I get more used to our new home!
Well, that’s us in a nutshell. We have some animals that you’ll meet later but I want to make sure I can actually figure out how to post…this post.
