Baltic Amber Teething Necklace

Recently I was sent this Baltic Amber Teething Necklace in exchange for my honest review.  I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and really like it.

First impression?  It came adorably packaged.  It wasn’t just thrown in a bag.  I love this because if you’d like to give it as a gift, the hard work has been done for you!

Once you open the box you find a nice little information card.

The silicone teething ring has a breakaway clasp and you have the ability to remove it from the included “chain” and place it on another, should you want to.  It feels like a nice soft silicone, great for teething babies!

Next you come to the Baltic Amber Necklace.  Each stone is individually knotted to lessen any choking hazard and it has a twist clasp to prevent baby from pulling it off.  As with any necklace on your child, don’t leave them with it on unattended.  The stones look beautiful and it says that they are natural Baltic Amber. It’s a beautiful piece.

I would absolutely purchase this little set as a gift for someone expecting!

AngelCraft Adhesive Vinyl Sheets

Recently I was able to purchase this pack of vinyl adhesive at a deeply discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

When I first received it I was a little apprehensive as it seemed pretty thin.  But I didn’t think much of it because I’m still pretty new to using my Cricut as a vinyl cutter.  (Spoiler: it’s not too thin, lol).

As you can see, this pack comes with a ton of colors in the 12×12 size.  The colors are really nice, bright and bold.

I wasn’t sure what to test them out with so I looked through my stuff and found the Support Our Troops sign.

The only issue I had with this vinyl was here.  There were no instructions on what settings to use, but this wasn’t a big deal.  I just tested with a tiny shape until I figured out what worked!

It cut out beautifully!  I should have chose a less fussy pattern as it fell all over itself, but thankfully wasn’t damaged when I pried it apart, lol.  This was totally my fault though!  It also stuck perfectly.  The bumps you see were also my fault and not the fault of this vinyl!
I would definitely recommend this if you’d like a bunch of colors to craft with!!  I am considering what to do next now!

Kovot Window Bird Feeder

I adore birds.  I love listening to them cheep and chirrup and I love watching them hop about.  So sweet and graceful!!  Now that Sebastian is 4, he’s even more interested in animals and what they get up to so I’ve actually been looking for a window bird feeder for a while!
I was able to buy this one at a deep discount in exchange for my review and I just love it.  It has nice strong suction cups to keep it firmly in place.  It also has a soft lip for th birds to stand on.  I’m curious to see how well this bit holds up to little talons and such, but it feels well made.  The one thing that I’d change is the “roof”.  I’d like to see it come out a bit further to help keep the weather out of the food.  As it it, every time it rains I have to change it out.  It’s absolutely not a deal breaker and I imagine many houses would have an area where this could go and be a little more protected.  And it’s certainly not anything that would stop me from buying or using this.

Intelli Armor 4-Port USB Charger

Traveling has to be my ultimate favorite past time.  Going to well-loved places or discovering somewhere new…I love it!  Hotels can be fun, exploring, or going to a place we’ve been a thousand times…it’s all good!!

What’s not good is finding places to plug everything in.  It’s usually my husband, our son, and myself when we go places, but sometimes others are with us whether it’s my mom and sis, friends, etc.  Obviously the more people you have, the more plugs you need these days.  There’s a phone per grown-person, iPads for everyone, camera chargers…the list goes on and on.  And there never seems to be enough places to plug them all in, even when it’s just the 3 of us.  You’ll find one item in the bathroom, one on the floor by a bed, one over in a corner.  It’s annoying and I’m always afraid we will leave something.

I’ve said for a while that we need a USB hub to plug in more than one thing, but I just haven’t gone out to get one yet.  Thankfully, I was recently able to aquire one at a deep discount in exchange for my review and I tell you what…this little guy is now permanently a part of my travel bag and I’d like to grab one more!!

The Amuse Bouche By BITE Beauty

Lipstick lovers rejoice!!  These new lipsticks by BITE Beauty are amazing!!

– They come in 34 bold shades and are handcrafted for the highest pigmentation.

– They have an ultra-creamy texture made from 12 edible oils.

– They have a mouth-watering citrus flavor made with real pressed fruit…something this citrus lover ADORES!
I was sent three of these shades complementary by #Influenster for testing and review purposes: Beetroot, Pepper, and…another that’s in the car, lol.

Disposable Potty Cover

Ok, raise your hands if you don’t like public restrooms?  Have littles who put their hands all over the seats?  Hate Porta-Potties?  Yea, me too!!

Well I was recently sent a pack of these individually wrapped disposable potty covers For free in order to give my honest review and I’m thrilled.  These aren’t any tiny toilet seat covers.  No, these bad boys cover the Potty!!  They hang over the edge  where little hands grab and in the front so legs and clothes aren’t touching the front.  I think these would be amazing for public restrooms but I think I’ll be saving mine for the porta-potties!!!

Car Seat Travel Bag by AngelBaby

Raise your hand if you travel with a car seat?  Now raise your hand if you’re worried about it getting all dirty?!  Me, me!!

I always gate check our seat because I don’t want it getting squished under bags.  But first I take the bag that it came in and just knot it at the top.  This keeps it from getting dirty and too wet (the knot doesn’t fully close at the top) but carrying it is a huge pain!!!
So, when I was offered to the chance to receive this item free or heavily discounted, I jumped at the chance!

First, it zips up into itself so that when you aren’t using it, it’s safe and out of the way.  It’s not a separate pouch so there is no risk in losing part of it!  I was worried it would be hard to fit it back in there but it was super easy.  A couple folds, roll, and it’s in!

The back has a should strap!!  I love this feature!!  Hands are free to hold other things!

The front says “Fragile”, which I love, had a hand strap, and a place for you to write your info.  And, as you can see, it’s big!  We travel with our booster now, which is taller than our car seat.  But it will have no problem fitting in here.  You pull the top close and the toggle locks it in place.  And it feels like it’s made of very sturdy material.

I’m really looking forward to trying this out on our next flight!!

Cutielunch Reusable Squeeze Pouches

My son just turned 4, and like many moms with busy kiddos, I like to have easy snacks on hand. Ones that he can grab at home and ones I can grab if we are going to be out and about.

We buy the disposable pounds of applesauce because it’s all of the above and is a snack I don’t feel bad letting him have!  But the problem is, these pouches are expensive and they produce a lot of waste.  I’ve been thinking about purchasing some reusable ones but didn’t really want to fork out the money for something I wasn’t sure would work and would still be easy!

Thankfully, I was recently sent some of these adorable Cutielunch Reusable Squeeze Pouches for free in order to test them out and give my honest opinion.

Right out of the packaging I thought they were super cute!  My son was there when I opened them and the cute pictures caught his attention too!

You can basically pop anything squeezable in these…applesauce, yogurt, etc…if it’s edible and squeezable, spoon it in!  Lol

To fill them up, you just pop open the bottom, which has a double layer of closures to ensure nothing will leak out.

I’m sure there are other ways to  fill (funnel?) but I just took a spoon and popped it in there.

The first time I filled one, I filled it wayyyy to far and had to scoop a bunch back out.  After that I made sure to pay a little more attention and found that I easily got about 8 heaping spoonfuls in there.  You could probably fit more, but I thought that was a decent amount for a little belly.

I filled up the 4 pouches that come in the order (4 for 10.99 on Amazon) and popped them in the fridge.  It took me maybe 5 minutes to get them all filled!  So easy!

The only thing I thought was a little weird is the tops.  You screw them on and the first time you unscrew them they “break” like you just bought them at a store.  They’re still perfectly usable, I would just think that there could be a different way to make them since they’re reusable.  But that’s certainly not a deal breaker for me and I’ll for sure be wanting at least one other set of these!!  No more buying applesauce pouches!!!

If you’d like to check them out, they can be found on Amazon at:

Influenster Box – YSL Touche Éclat

I was recently lucky enough to receive the YSL Touche Éclat Vox Box from Influenster!  In it was both the Touche Éclat Blur Primer and the Touche Éclat Blur Perfector.

These are items that I never would have even considered picking up for myself.  I don’t know much about makeup and wouldn’t have had a clue what either item was even used for!  Lol.  Because of this I’m so happy that I was able to try them!

The YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer is “the first radiance boosting primer.  Formulated with four nourishing oils, skin is left incredibly soft without greasy residue.  Immediately pores look diminished, skin feels smoother and skin tone is more even and luminous.”

They are Not kidding.  It took me awhile to work up the nerve to use this.  It looks gorgeous…sitting there in its bottle with a slight gold shimmer…but I am very wary of any sort of liquid/oil/lotion that I put on my face as I Hate anything that feels oily!!  Let me tell you, they are not kidding when they say there’s no greasy residue.  I think it must be magic!  You dip in the little applicator, pop some on your face, and rub it in.  It then starts to…feel like powder!  It was a strange sensation since I wasn’t expecting it, but very pleasant!

Next comes the YSL Touche Éclat Blur Perfector.  This is touted as “the first blur on-the-go.  Instantly transforms from a balm to a powder to sweep away shine and imperfections” and can be used three ways:

*Alone as an all-over completion perfector

*To set makeup

*As a mattifying touch up during the day

When I opened this up it looked like a pink powder, but as I wiped the sponge through it, I saw that it was indeed more the consistency of a balm!  The same thing happened as with the primer…what I thought would feel greasy felt like a powder!

Final thoughts?  I will definitely purchase this when I run out.   I love the way it looks and feels and have really enjoyed getting the opportunity to play with it!  Plus, the packaging is gorgeous!  In the box or out, these are just downright pretty and would look beautiful sitting on a vanity!

*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing and review purposes.  (However, all opinions are my own!)

Citrus Lane – January…I think

Citrus Lane is a pretty cool subscription box for kids. It’s about 30$ a month so I, admittedly, only get it when I can get it for at least 50% off. I like that my son gets some toys that I really haven’t seen anywhere and at half price, it’s a great deal!

I’ve had this one socked away since it arrived as I’m giving the goodies to Sebastian fir his birthday on Sunday…but I’m pretty sure this was January’s box!

Love the winter box!

First look

Smarty Pants Vitamins – sampler. I refuse to add samples into the value of the boxes, lol. Sebastian thinks vitamins are are special candy that he’s allowed once a day, so he will get this instead of his normal ones in the next day or so.

Reusable Little Squirt – $7.45 (Amazon). Super cute and I know Seb will enjoy using this.

Midi Basic Set – $12.95 (Amazon) These are pretty nifty little things! I’m looking forward to playing with them with the little monster!

Memory Game – $15.00 (Amazon) I love learning games and the pictures on this look sooooo cute!!

So the value of this box was right around 30$…which either way really isn’t bad. I paid about 15$ though so I’m happy!
